As the air grew warmer, the hills were lost to view
From hollows and hillsides our way is winding through
A pleasant stay in merry halls, with evil kept outside by walls
Make haste, make haste, don't waste
The sunlight pouring down, you're walking hollowed ground

Woke up with the light blocked by stone
Cold, confused and most likely alone
Heavy darkness weighing down
alive but six feet underground

Been lazy and caught in the fog
Sleepy in the sun when we better had not
Caught few miles out side the wood
Long before we thought we could

But hidden deep inside it's sleeping the love for your own kind you're keeping
It's so deep down there's still the sound, the big heart of a small man beating

Don't speak, no don't make no sound
There's movement in the darkness around
Crazy whispers stirring fear
Something strange is crawling near

But hidden deep inside it's sleeping the love for your own kind you're keeping
It's so deep down there's still the sound, the big heart of a small man beating

But hidden deep inside it's sleeping the love for your own kind you're keeping
It's so deep down there's still the sound, the big heart of a small man beating
The big heart beating

Now hidden at your side it's sleeping, an old blade that you might be wielding
To old to tell, still sharp as hell, it's bad news for an old foe waiting
The big heart beating
