When the new day is dawning
and the night turns into morning
When the darkness hides away
and gives in to the light of day
When the first bird gladly sings
and takes off high on golden wings
we rejoice and wonder why
so many days just passed us by

We stride into the dawn
We stride into the dawn
We keep on going on

Along the hidden paths that run
east of the moon, west of the sun
through the darkest woods we came
in search of the forgotten name
Set out on this fearful quest
to find him, who can give us rest
as in tales and lore was told
a man born from the Kings of old

We stride into the dawn
We stride into the dawn
We keep on going on

All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be King
