Synopsis: "Brandir, the leader of the woodsmen [high baritone], warns his people that Glaurung is coming to destroy them. Túrin kills the dragon, but the dying Glaurung lifts the enchantment from Nienor, who is pregnant with her brother's child. In horror at the discovery she throws herself into a ravine. Túrin, discovering from Brandir and from Mablung (who now arrives from Doriath) the full tale of what has chanced, throws himself on his own sword."</p>
