The lady of the wood
I really wish I would
See the lady of the wood
To see the moonlight showing
On her golden hair that's glowing
And have the lady look at me ever knowing

In her forest solitude when the leaves have turned to gold
To see her shining brightly is a vision to behold
The star upon her hand and the stars up in the sky
Will shine out bright together until the end of time

And where she walks the forest rings with laughter
And where she stands the night will run away
And when she talks you know you'd better listen
And when you're lost she'll show you the way

Her beauty is not equaled by any living thing
And the things she has made to the heart a gladness brings
Soon she'll sail into the west to where she walked of old
She'll leave behind the moon and stars, their beauty to behold
