Artist Comment: "This is a piece for intermediate bassoonists. Mr. Wevers is the principal bassoonist of the Thunder Bay Symphony and has composed several very fine chamber and orchestra works as well as other music for bassoon. Into The Land of Shadow is a one movement work in slow time with very interesting rhythmic patterns for both the bassoon and piano.
